It’s a long, long, story but I needed to be in Ilwaco WA for an appointment Tuesday afternoon. Initial forecast was rain and “very windy” but the storm moved through in the morning so so missed out on the 30 mph winds with higher gusts. I tossed the brompton and some rain gear in the car and headed down.
Post-appointment I parked at the port and headed to Old Town Trading Post Cafe for a hemp milk pumpkin spice latte.
Coffee in hand, I took to the discovery trail for some rollers and walks uphill.
The views at Cape Disappointment State Park did not disappoint.
I took in the view, finished the coffee, and looped back to the car for a long drive home for a grand total of 3.6 miles.
